Dr. Jamie Knox, originally from deep in the heart of Central Texas, proudly calls Garden Ridge home. Early on, she discovered an innate desire to help others, leading her to pursue a career in dentistry. During her undergraduate studies, she concurrently worked as a dental assistant, earning a BS in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Subsequently, she completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2008.
Dedicated to advancing her skills, Dr. Knox completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at the UT Health Science Center. There, she trained in IV and Oral moderate conscious sedation, implant placement, advanced surgical procedures, full mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Knox is also a certified Invisalign provider and proficient in therapeutic Botox administration for oral-facial and TMD pain.
Beyond the dental office, Dr. Knox is devoted to her family, sharing joyous moments with her husband, Justin, and two wonderful children. Their zest for life extends to weekends filled with gardening, running, culinary arts, crafting and community involvement. Dr. Knox actively participates in local dental study clubs and hold memberships in esteemed professional organizations which include:
