Dr. Ramón Ray was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico and moved to San Antonio, TX in 1996. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2007 and attended Texas A&M University. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus in Genetics and Chemistry and graduated in 2011. In 2016, he completed a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Ramón Ray, alongside his wife Dr. Olivia Ray, is a co-director of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry’s young dentist study club (SAFE). His professional affiliations include: San Antonio District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, SAFE, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry.
When not working, he loves spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys camping, hiking, rock climbing, and cycling. In fact, backpacking every National Park in the country is one of his lifetime goals! Dr. Ray also enjoys sports and always cheers for his Spurs and Fightin’ Texas Aggies! Gig ‘Em!
