Dr. Ramón Ray was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico and moved to San Antonio, TX in 1996. He grew up in the area and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) right down the road from the office. Fun fact: Dr. Ramón was a patient of the office his entire childhood until he decided to be on the other side of the chair!

He attended and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2007. While there he participated in lacrosse, swimming, and won State in soccer. He was a member of JROTC as well as the band. After graduating high school he attended Texas A&M University. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus in Genetics and Chemistry and graduated in 2011. In 2016, he completed a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School.

Dr. Ramón Ray, alongside his wife Dr. Olivia Ray, were previous co-directors of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry’s young dentist study club (SAFE). His professional affiliations and active memberships include: River District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Clear Aligners, Molis Coaching, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry.

When not working, he loves spending time with his family, friends, and dog. He enjoys landscaping, hiking, rock climbing, and cycling. In fact, visiting every National Park in the country is one of his lifetime goals! Dr. Ray also enjoys sports and always cheers for his Spurs and Fightin’ Texas Aggies! Gig ‘Em!
